About Us - Board Members
There is a National Board of Directors, Senior Physician Advisor and national Officers of the Foundation. Their primary role will be the establishment of the overall Foundation policies and operating principles, manage the business affairs of the Foundation, and raise funds. The National Executive Director of the Foundation will lead the day-to-day operations.
There is also a Regional Board of Directors in the following regions: Northeast, Southeast, Central, and West. The UnitedHealthcare Regional CEO will be one of the board members for his/her region. The other Regional Board members are made up of physicians, business people, lawyers and others interested in advancing the well-being of children. The Regional Boards will oversee the grant application and award process for requests within that region.
